The specific areas related the theme for manuscript submission
Clean Air Asia (CAA) together with the Clean Air Forum Society of Malaysia (MyCAS), Malaysia’s Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, and the Natural Resources and Environment Board of Sarawak have successfully organized the 10th Better Air Quality (BAQ) Conference at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching in Sarawak, Malaysia from November 12-16, 2018 with pre-events from November 12-13 and the main conference from November 14-16. The 10th BAQ had this primary theme, “Regional Action, Global Impact”. As one of the most important economic regions in the World, Asia plays a pivotal role in global efforts to improve air quality. Rapid urbanization coupled with continued economic growth has resulted in significant air quality concerns but also prompted a number of positive steps in Asian countries. A total of 702 delegates from 33 countries participated in the conference.
The BAQ conference, one of the region’s leading international air quality conferences, organized biennially, covers the key sectors of climate change and monitoring and controlling of air pollution from transport, energy and industry. This special issue of AAQR will contain papers on various aspects on air quality research, monitoring technologies, control strategies, as well as management and health risk assessment (HRA) and health impact assessment (HIA). This special issue will focus on a selection of quality papers presented at BAQ Conference 2018, and welcome other contributions related to BAQ themes.
AAQR focuses on aerosol and air quality and is indexed in SCI with the impact factor of 2.735 in 2018 JCR. AAQR is an open access journal supported by the publication fee charged to the corresponding author of the accepted papers. The Guidelines for Authors for submitting a manuscript can be found on the website of AAQR (http://aaqr.org). The deadline for manuscript submission is November 15, 2019. Manuscripts submitted after the deadline are considered only when the space is available. The targeted publication date is July 2020.
